There has been plenty of speculation and rumors that The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is pregnant with Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex's baby. An insider at the palace did, however, just confirm that Markle is not pregnant again despite saying that she would like to extend her Royal family.
Markle was building her acting career by starring on Suits and as a model for Deal or No Deal, when she began her relationship with Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, back in June 2016. She was set up on a blind date by a mutual friend and the two immediately hit it off. Their engagement was announced on November 27th, 2017 and announced that she would retire from acting and became a British citizen. She and Harry were married on May 19th, 2018 at Windsor Castle. Just a year later, on May 6th, 2019, Markle became a mother for the first time when she gave birth to seventh in line to the English throne, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

The Duke has been very vocal about wanting kids since long before he met Markle. Last month, according to a source that spoke with Us Weekly, the 35-year-old former military pilot and prince revealed that he would love to have another baby, sooner rather than later. A source just revealed that while there has been plenty of speculation that the 38-year-old royal is carrying another heir to the throne, it remains just rumors at this point. The insider from the palace said that Markle is "not pregnant" at the moment.
The insider revealed that "Their family is their number 1 priority." They also noted that both parents are looking forward to having another and hope to conceive by next year. It was revealed last November that their 7-month-old baby, Archie is "a strong baby and you can tell he's super smart. He can sit up without support and roll over, and he's almost crawling." Though the insider did reveal that while he's very active, he's not quite to the talking stage yet, "but he's trying."
Markle revealed just how difficult this last pregnancy was while being in the public eye and especially after trying to bounce back with all of the negative press. Though it's not easy to be living at the center of the attention and where people are paying attention to every move that is made, the Duke and Duchess are still planning on expanding their brood. The royal family followers can hopefully be expecting a pregnancy announcement in 2020.
