Queer Eye’s Tan France Shows Off His Extravagant Closet

Fans knew the stylist of Queer Eye, Tan France was bound to have an amazing closet, so it was no surprise to see that his closet was the most extravagant part of his home. Tan took fans on a tour of his home in which he shares with his husband Rob France and showed off the most amazing room in the house, a closet that is the length of his home.

The stars of Netflix's Queer Eye - a reboot of Bravo's Queer Eye For The Straight Guy - became overnight sensations after the show premiered in 2018. Already in its fifth season, Queer Eye centers on the Fab Five - including Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Bobby Berk - who help people reinvent themselves. The group help upgrades the person's wardrobe, improve their grooming habits, and help them through their personal demons. France's focus on Queer Eye is styling. He is the fashion guru and is going on shopping sprees with the guests, helping them find clothing that makes them feel confident. France is a longtime fashion lover so it makes sense that he has decided to make clothing his life's work.

It also comes to no surprise that France would design the largest room of his house to be his walk-in closet. For Architectural Digest, France took a tour of the 3,000-square-foot home he shares with his husband, Rob, in which they purchased back in 2017. After an extensive renovation, France was eager to show off his designing chops, as he boasted that he'd designed the whole house by himself. The industrial and robust home had a seamless balance between masculine and feminine energy, classic and modern, as well as cozy and open spaces. France's Salt Lake City home was originally built in 1906 and he was able to keep the bones of the house while bringing the style into modern times.

However, this Queer Eye star really made his priorities clear when he shows off his walk-in closet that takes up and entire top floor of his home. The closet spans the entire length of the house with black iron railings, tasteful green striped wallpaper, and a velour stool. Not only does the meticulously organized closet look straight out of a magazine but it's functional as well with shelves and storage throughout. When he got to his shoe collection which filled half of the room, France admitted, "I have a problem." Though, the fashion fun doesn't stop there as France revealed the basement space that they will be turning into a walk-in closet, as he's already begun running out of space in his attic closet. France showed fans the empty space which will include all new storage for his expansive clothing and shoe collection and also a bed.

It makes sense that the biggest room in France's home is his walk-in closet. It's interesting to see where this stylist gets ready every day. And since he's always preaching about the importance of closet organization, Queer Eye fans can see first hand that France follows his own advice.
