The Bachelorette's Tyler Cameron recently told Jennifer Garner he’d swipe right on her. What was the exact occasion in which the reality heartthrob and America's sweetheart's paths crossed? Fans have a meme to blame (or thank, depending on how much you love these two).
The internet has been blowing up with the LinkedIn/Facebook/Instagram/Tinder meme. Stars and regular folks alike have been uploading pictures of themselves that correspond with several popular social media platforms (LinkedIn = business photo; Facebook = sweet and approachable pic; Instagram = living your best life image; Tinder = NSFW pic). Garner participated and posted her own take on the meme for her 8.3 million followers to like and comment. Each picture was perfectly placed, but there was some question about the final two images. The Instagram photo showed Garner in an old Hollywood glamour shot taken on a spiral staircase, while her Tinder photo showcased the 13 Going on 30 star paddleboarding in a wet suit.
One fan commented, "I would have switched the instagram and tinder pics." Garner responded, "Shoot, is THAT why no one swipes?" Shortly after, Cameron chimed in with the mic-drop heard 'round the Internet: "I’m still swiping right." While there was no public response from Garner, one mustn't discount the DMs. For all anyone knows, these two could be engaged in a heavy-but-private flirtation right now.
After all, Cameron is certainly Garner's type. The actress has been romantically linked to some of the most jaw-droppingly attractive men in Hollywood. She was involved with and later married to Felicity and Scandal star Scott Foley from 1998 until 2003. Garner dated her Alias costar Michael Vartan from 2003 to 2004. Finally, who could forget her romance with her superhero ex-husband Ben Affleck? Although she's quietly dated here and there since the divorce, fans are waiting for her to snap back with a high-profile relationship. The Bachelorette breakout star could be just what the doctor ordered.
Sure, this whole story is a cautionary tale against thirst-trapping, but wouldn't it be wonderful if something long-lasting materialized from it? When Cameron had that heartfelt conversation with his ailing father during The Bachelorette hometown visits (about wanting a wife and kids to come home to), viewers were hooked. Why shouldn't that wife be Garner? She's cute, quirky, has an awesome sense of humor, is a killer mom, and her social media game is legendary. After his stint dating beauty queens and models, Cameron might just need a mature hottie to turn him into the man he told his father he wanted to be. All this time, we thought it would be Hannah or Gigi to do that. Now with the Bachelorette star throwing his attention toward Jen Garner, 2020 could actually be getting its first sexy power couple.
