One of the current stars of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Big Ed is apparently upset over backlash for demanding his girlfriend Rose shave her legs. Many felt it was unfair for a man to demand a woman look a certain way especially when Rose is from a poverty-stricken part of the Philippines and doesn't even have running water.
Big Ed was at first an easy fan-favorite on the show but due to his control issues, he has quickly become one of the most unliked due to his creepy approach. Some fans chalked it up to years of being out of the game, while other fans are suggesting he could be a predator as he was caught trying to mold Rosemarie into his perfect woman. Many are questioning the motives of his girlfriend, Rosemarie as well. Both seem to be uncomfortable around one another as they hail from two different backgrounds.
Big Ed found himself on the opposite side of fans when he woke up Monday morning. Blasting News reported that Big Ed was unhappy with the unwelcomed opinions of his followers when it came to telling Rosemarie how she should look. 90 Day Fiancé fans were appalled that the San Diego native would have had the audacity to preach to a woman from a poor country that he would find her more attractive if she followed his guidelines. TLC fans pointed out that Big Ed did not look so put together himself as he had just woken up with a comb-over. When approached, Rosemarie looked horrified and confused, naturally looking completely uncomfortable at the idea of shaving her legs as she had clearly never given it a second thought.
Big Ed took to defending himself as he shared that he was overwhelmed with an immense amount of hate mail. The TLC personality shared that he was still happy he decided to take part in the hit franchise and that he would do it all over again. He promised his viewers that during the next couple of episodes he would try to redeem himself.
The Californian is currently quarantined alone as the world deals with the coronavirus pandemic. The reality star also revealed that he had just moved into a bigger house so his mother could move in, but fans also wondered if Rosemarie and her son, Prince had moved in as well. Due to nondisclosure agreements, Big Ed could not go into more detail, but fans have a sneaky feeling the couple has gone through with the proposal and moved onto the K-1 visa process.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days airs Sunday at 8pm EST on TLC.
