Tell Me a Story takes beloved fairytales full of wonder and light and turns them into a dark and twisted psychological thriller. Supernatural and other films have dabbled in the same idea, reworking Snow White and Cinderella but Tell Me a Story takes it to a new level. The show includes Paul Wesley as a recurring character.

The show takes apart and turns beloved stories such as The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretal and transforms them into riveting stories of greed, murder and love. Each season tackles new famous stories. So far, the show has been a success and has gotten favorable reviews.

10 Thorns And All (7.9)

This episode, in season 2, involves a lot of who'd done it and who the real culprit is tied with a lot of broken relationships. While Olivia (Danielle Campbell) has Tucker (Paul Wesley) chained and drugged, Veronica (Garcelle Beauvais ) questions Derek (Christopher Meyer) and Ron (Caleb Castille) for Cora's (Julia Campbell) murder. As the episode progresses, Jackson (Matt Lauria) relapses into drugs and alcohol as Ashley (Natalie Alyn Lind)and Rebecca (Carrie-Anne Moss) change their career tactics.

The main focal point of the episode is Olivia and Tucker. Olivia starts to spiral into a sociopath behavior. She forces Tucker to break up with Maddie (Odette Annable) and confesses to having a higher murder count than Luke.

9 Favorite Son (7.9)

Olivia takes things into her own hands and puts Tucker and Maddie through psychological therapy. Multiple people start to question who killed Cora and who the real murderer is. Madie has no choice but to belive Olivia's accusation that Tucker has killed before and it stems from his sister.

The truth comes out and Ron reveals to Derek he is the one who changed Veronica's trust. Things take a turn as Derek reveals his own murderous past. The episode is full of twists and turns that lead to murderous truth and anticipating threat and danger.

8 Chapter 10: Forgiveness (7.9)

Taking it season one, episode 10 gets a 7.9 rating from IMDb. The season finale will have you at the edge of your seat with its dynamic storyline. Jordan (James Wolk ) steals the diamonds from Sam (Dorian Crossmond Missick) and tells dirty Olsen he believes Sam killed Garcia (Zabryna Guevara). The biggest reveal is when Nick (Billy Magnussen) admits to Kayla (Danielle Campbell) that he killed Abby and moved to New York and became a teacher in order to stalk her.

As this occurs, Hannah (Dania Ramirez) and Gabe (Davi Santos)manage to escape from the basement where Katrina (Becki Newton) held them hostage. Jordan is shot by Sam, who is then hit by a car as he flees. By the end of the episode, audiences see an animated storybook of three ending outcomes.

7 Number One Fan (8.0)

Things get interesting in this episode as Oliva reveals to Tucker that she once had a boyfriend named Luke who tragically died. At dinner with Tucker's parents, they reveal to Maddie that Tucker accidentally killed his sister when they were younger.

Meanwhile, Ashley's superfan, Kyle (Casey Thomas Brown) confronts her and tries to kidnap her leading Beau (Eka Darville)to take action. All the while, Simone (Ashley Madekwe)revealed to Cora that she was going to look for an original copy of her father's will. She then finds out her father was investigating Veronica for cheating.

6 Chapter 6: Guilt (8.1)

Nick and Kayla's relationship gets too serious for her to handle. After Kayla skips school to spend the day with Nick, he confesses his love for her. She is overwhelmed and breaks things off unaware that Nick isn't who he says he is. Hannah and Gabe are ready for a new life when the police arrive and are sold out by their own mother.

They soon realize they are not police officers but goons working for the people who are after them. They manage to get away after a car crash. Meanwhile, Jordan threatens Eddie (Paul Wesley) and they get into an altercation leading to a fatality.

5 Chapter 7: Betrayal (8.1)

Episode seven of the second season can be a lot to digest, but it's a good storyline overall. Police suspect Eddie of murder while Jordan uses Eddie for guidance in his mission. Hannah and Gabe escape their captors. Hannah escapes the woods before someone starts chasing her and Gabe is kidnapped at a gas station.

The story between Nick and Kayla gets even more twisted as she starts to look into his past. She discovers his real identity and that he has been lying the entire time. To make things even more chilling, he has one of her mother's paintings.

4 Lost And Found (8.1)

Tell Me a Story gets dark as Tucker feeds into his nature. He chases a wounded Olivia through the woods and instead kills Brandan. Simone has been kidnapped by Ron and plans to give her up to people who want her dead because of a debt. She is later saved by Jackson and finds Cora dead in her apartment.

A flashback reveals Olivia's abusive relationship with Luke that created a new persona in her. She later attacks Tucker in his apartment and ties him up. Smiling evilly, she explains she is just like Tucker.

3 Chapter 5: Madness (8.2)

"Chapter 5: madness" gives more backstory to Nick as a character. As Jordan gets visions of Beth pleading not to seek justice, Nick tracks down Ethan and ultimately doesn't trust him and murders him. Mitch (Michael Raymond-James) and Eddie meet to discuss Jordan before they are threatened with a decapitated pig head.

Tim (Sam Jaeger) and Kayla are having family problems as she accuses him of causing her mother's death due to his cheating. The episode closes with Kayla turning to Nick unaware of his previous murderous actions.

2 Chapter 8: Truth (8.2)

Nick's evil nature comes to light in this episode. It is revealed that he was having an affair with Abby and started to pursue her when she tried to break things off. This leads to a car crash and instead of helping Abby, Nick murders her. To add more gasping moments of reveals, Sam enters the interrogation room to Jordan's surprise. Sam is a detective investigating Garcia's case and her suspicion of Jordan as a murderer.

Meanwhile, Gabe and Hannah are in trouble as Gabe is being tortured. Hannah agrees to give over the money in exchange for Gabe. Get ready for a shock as it's revealed at the end of the episode who was really behind Gabe and Hannah's misery.

1 Chapter 9: Deception (8.2)

This episode gets high ratings as it helps bring things into focus as the first season is about to end. Katrina is the buyer and plans to kill Gabe. Hannah and Terry (Kurt Yaeger) hatch a plan to rescue her brother and thwart the trade-off. Nick lures Kayla's friend to an abandoned building in order to see Kayla.

Garcia starts to suspect Sam is dirty and it's confirmed by Jordan. Nick meets with Kalya, but she manages to stab him and discovers her friend dead. Meanwhile, Sam double-crosses Garcia and has one of his henchmen do the dirty work. Nick presumes a new disguise, but not without taking Colleen (Kim Cattrall) as a souvenir.
