Amanza Smith revealed all the Selling Sunset stars were shocked by the news of Chrishell Stause's divorce. Amanza said most of the realtors came together in support of the former Days Of Our Lives actress.
The Selling Sunset season three trailer is out and it mainly focuses on Chrishell's divorce. Her ex Justin Hartley filed for divorce in November last year and claimed the time of separation as July. When asked about the split by her co-star Mary Fitzgerald, the 39-year-old realtor claimed she was blindsided by her husband. Chrishell seems confused and heartbroken because she never saw this separation coming. However, Christine Quinn recently revealed that the couple was facing communication issues and were going to the therapy together.
While talking to Hollywood Life, Amanza Smith reveals how shocked she and other cast members were by this news. She said, "We [the cast] were all in shock. We were all in tears when we found out. We found out at the same time." Amanza used to look up to this lovely couple as "couple goals," and it was all gone. She explained, "In the office, we'd look at them and be like, 'That's the couple I want to be like.' Like hashtag couple goals or whatever. I know nothing's perfect, but they seemed so perfect. They seemed so in love and so awesome and then it just came out of nowhere. So, we were all shocked."
All the realtors and the owner of the firm, Jason Oppenheim, came together to uplift their co-star Chrishell. Amanza described The Oppenheim Group as a close-knit community where they treat every person (or co-worker) as family. She said, "We all look out for one another, so when it came to Chrishell, we all — well, I can't say all of us (laughs) — but, for the most part, we lifted her up as if we would if it were a family member." While most of the realtors were sympathizing with Chrishell, Christine was irritated by the fact that her wedding was no longer the center of attention. She said, "I really want to be excited for my wedding, but obviously it's overshadowed by Chrishell's divorce."
Obviously, everything was not perfect between Justin and Chrishell. Many viewers are waiting to watch the upcoming season and get some hint on why this split happened in the first place. However, it's highly unlikely that there will be any shocking revelations, as Chrishell is not allowed to talk about her then-husband on camera. Viewers never saw Justin appear on any previous season of Selling Sunset because of this contract with his hit TV show This Is Us.
Selling Sunset season one and two are available to stream on Netflix.
