Netflix has released the first official trailer for The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4 — teasing the destruction of Greendale and the end of all things. Created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who also served as the author of the source material, the infinitely more macabre reimagining debuted in October 2018. It was rapidly followed by further adventures that aired across 2019 and 2020. In the wake of Part 3, however, it was confirmed that Part 4 would also be the show's last.
The streaming service has now released a full trailer for the upcoming episodes. Opening with Sabrina celebrating her birthday, there is already an element of things coming full circle. It's not long, however, before things go characteristically awry. As well as facing potential consequences for messing with time to create a doppelganger, Sabrina will be forced to deal with the newly-released eldritch terrors. Check out the trailer below:
The sinister terrors are seen prominently attacking Greendale. Described as ancient entities by Ambrose, their reign of terror will culminate in the arrival of something known as The Void. As mentioned throughout, The Void will not only wipe the town from existence but consume the entire world. As such, Sabrina will have to align with both friends and the forces of Hell in order to have any chance of stopping it.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4 will be released on December 31, 2020. The series stars Kiernan Shipka, Mirando Otto, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Ross Lynch, Gavin Leatherwood, Jaz Sinclair, Lachlan Watson, Tati Gabrielle, Richard Coyle, and Michelle Gomez. Several other familiar faces will also recur, including Luke Cook as The Dark Lord.
