Below Deck Down Under: What To Know About The Upcoming Show

The successful Below Deck franchise is expanding again and we're here to talk about the upcoming show, Below Deck Down Under. This show is filmed in Australia and it features a crew of eager cast members who are willing to put their skills to the test in a rather remote location. It will air on the Peacock streaming service. Bringing the new show to Peacock will help the streaming platform to attract new viewers and entertain existing viewers.

Since the original Below Deck launched, the spinoffs have expanded. Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht feature different locales and crews. The spinoff crews are willing to embark on intense voyages. Below Deck Sailing Yacht has shown viewers that crews can be the best but still get low tips from impossible-to-please guests. In other cases, crew members get close because they have chemistry. Cast members may flirt and/or hook up, which creates more drama, at least some of which is captured by cameras. Certain chief stews and captains are fine with this as long as the crew can handle the morning shift when the fun is over. Sometimes, captains find evidence, such as rule-breaking, and take action. The pandemic has not helped by mandating necessary restrictions. The action in other spinoffs leads franchise fans to believe that Below Deck Down Under is going to be very exciting.

Viewers interested in watching Below Deck Down Under (Below Deck costs millions to produce, so the spinoffs aren't cheap to film, either) will have to go to Peacock. The streaming service will be hosting the show. It was filmed in Whitsundays towards the end of April of this year. Peacock is testing these new waters after confirming that the show had been greenlit on May 13. Yacht guests will get to scuba dive in the Pacific Ocean and rough it a bit away from the typical luxuries. However, the crew may run into trouble if guests want five-star service. Viewers are optimistic about the upcoming show. Fans want to find out who the captain, chief stew, and crew members are. While photos have been released, names haven't. The cast list is pending as of the week of May 23, 2021.

Below Deck viewers are familiar with Australian crew members. Hannah Ferrier, who recently left the show to focus on caring for her family, was entertaining to watch, but a little controversial. Sydney resident Izzy Wouters came out as a lesbian and inspired LGBTQ+ viewers and others. She was proud to reveal her sexuality and to politely turn down all of the men who hit on her via Instagram. Fans admire Izzy and follow her online to see how she is doing after season 8.

The Below Deck spinoff journey will certainly be exciting. Maybe it will even be a little bit dangerous. Every crew member will need to be on the alert, to protect themselves, the crew, and charter guests. Australia's land and ocean are beautiful and thrilling. The Great Barrier Reef is filled with many species of wildlife, including the Blue-Ringed Octopus and the Box Jellyfish. The land has its own share of hazards and unique features, from spiny trees to territorial koalas to multiplying rabbits. During one year, flooding in Brisbane caused a shark invasion. In such a region, the Below Deck Down Under drama is practically guaranteed.
