A brand new Spider-Man: Far From Home set photo features Tom Holland's headlining hero and Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury cruising on a speedboat. Directed by Spider-Man: Homecoming helmsman Jon Watts, the upcoming sequel will be the MCU's first entry in its still-mysterious Phase 4. Set after the events of Avengers 4, plot details regarding the movie are still being tightly kept under wraps, considering that next year's Phase 3 culmination will serve as its narrative launching pad. That said, the follow-up will be bigger in scale, with the young hero traveling around Europe with his high school friends for a vacation. But with several bad guys lurking around - like the returning Vulture, Hydro-Man, Chameleon, Molten Man, and the movie's apparent primary antagonist, Mysterio - it doesn't seem like he'll have much downtime.
Both Peter and Fury suffered the same fate in Avengers: Infinity War - snuffed out from existence following Thanos' deadly snap. But with Avengers 4 expected to bring back most, if not all the heroes who were affected by the galactic genocide, the two will be resurrected one way or another, thanks to the upcoming efforts of the core Avengers and the help of Ant-Man and Captain Marvel. After the MCU's crisis at hand is finally resolved, the two (alongside Cobie Smulder's Maria Hill) will work together to contain a brand new threat in Far From Home.

This latest set photo featuring Spidey and Fury comes courtesy of Twitter user fangirlonloose_. Taken during one of the filming days in Venice, the image features Peter Parker (sporting his arachnid alter-ego's suit) and the former head of S.H.I.E.LD. cruising on a river aboard a speedboat. Check out the image below:
Far From Home began production in the U.K. back in July, and Venice was the last stop on its European filming leg before returning back to the U.S. to shoot more in New York and Los Angeles. So far, most filming has been done on location, resulting in a slew of set photos that give fans a peek at what the sequel might look like, including a look at Mysterio - supposedly played by Jake Gyllenhaal. A previously leaked video revealed Fury with Maria Hill, but this is the first time that he's been spotted on the set sharing a scene with Spider-Man.
Not much can be deciphered from the photo, but it appears like Fury came to Spider-Man's rescue, with the boat functioning as a getaway vessel. It also backs up theories that Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. (or the mysterious organization he's currently working with) have taken in the young hero, with a separate set image revealing that Peter's brand new stealth suit could be from the agency. Considering Fury's now watching out for Peter's well-being, many are speculating that Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) may bite the bullet in Avengers 4, since he seems to no longer be involved in Peter's solo missions. Otherwise, if he's still alive, it's odd that Stark wouldn't have anything to do with his mentee, especially since both Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) are believed to appear in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
