New Justice League illustrations from director Zack Snyder featuring Batman and The Flash are released online. It's been almost a year since Warner Bros. and DC Films first ventured into the superhero ensemble films hit theaters, but it remains to be a favorite topic of conversation among fans, especially since there seems to be new information about the film coming out every so often.
It's no secret that the version of Justice League that ended up on the big screen is significantly different from what Snyder originally planned. Between a slew of deleted scenes and Snyder coming forward to talk about what he wanted to do in the film, there's almost enough information out there to piece in an entirely different version of the film. Sadly, it is what it is with Warner Bros. not showing any signs of wanting to release the so-called Snyder Cut. That doesn't mean, however, that people can't continue to indulge themselves with occasional Justice League-related reveals like this one from Snyder himself.

Snyder posted a new set of Justice League artwork he drew himself on his official Vero account featuring Batman and the Flash supposedly during the final act battle in the film. As the filmmaker said, these are not storyboard illustrations but mere concept artworks, meaning that they weren't supposed to make it in the film anyway. Having said that, given fans' penchant for Snyder's ideas for the film, the images are still worth taking a look at. Check them out below:
One of the most surprising pairings in Justice League is Batman and the Flash. Granted that it was Bruce Wayne who recruited Barry Allen in the fight against Steppenwolf, the pair's dynamic was one of the most exciting relationships in the film and was something that fans would've wanted to see more of moving forward in the DCEU. But with no word yet with regard to Justice League 2, not to mention the continued uncertainty regarding Ben Affleck's involvement in the franchise, no one knows when the public will see the both of them again on the big screen.
Nonetheless, for Ezra Miller's Flash fans, the character's standalone film is supposedly moving forward albeit being pushed back again. Apparently, despite the lack of any official word from Warner Bros., the film was tipped to begin principal production early next year. But with script rewrites expected to not be finished by then, the studio opted to delay it. Sadly, Miller's Fantastic Beasts 3 commitment forced it to begin way later than what it was initially scheduled for. There's no confirmed date yet for the standalone, but given its new timeline, it can be ready to roll out in theaters late 2020/early 2021 at the earliest.
