It's an exciting day for these 90 Day Fiancé alumni and current stars of 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, Loren Brovarnik and Alexei Brovarnik. Loren revealed that Alexei is officially going to be a US citizen. The expecting parents had some great news to share with their fans after Alexei's very important citizen interview.
Fans first met Loren and Alexei on season three of 90 Day Fiancé. The two met when New Yorker Loren was staffing a birth-right trip to Isreal and he was the medic on the trip. The two remember attraction at first sight and then throughout the trip, they slowly fell in love. Fans watched as these two worked through their minor differences and the struggle of living in Loren's parents' house as they got on their feet financially. Their relationship was further documented on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? on seasons one and two, where Loren opened up about her Tourette's syndrome. Since then, the fan-favorite pair then went on to entertaining audiences on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk as the series veterans turn commentators of 90 Day Fiancé.
90 Day Fiancé fans remember when Loren cried after Alexei was finally granted his K-1 visa after waiting so long to be together finally in America. After that, Alexei and Loren only had 90 days to get married in order for Alexei to stay in the US. They got married in September of 2015. After nearly five years of marriage later and a boy baby on the way, Loren was proud to announce that Alexei is finally granted US citizenship. Loren went to her Instagram to share the exciting news with a cute photo of Loren smiling and Alexei napping on the couch - check out the post below:
She captioned the photo, "What a busy, yet exciting day!! Our full "90 Day Fiancé" process in its entirety has been completed." She added the caption, "#WeHaveACitizen." Loren then went to Instagram Stories to immediately share the good news with fans after they got outside of the interview. She said on the video, "So we just had Alexei's citizenship interview." She asked her husband, "And what happened?" He replied to the camera, "I passed it!" Loren then thanked their immigration lawyer, Samane, for helping them through the process. She ended the video, "And this guy is going to be a citizen! What an amazing Tuesday." She then posted another photo to her story of herself smiling with the caption, "All smiles today!" The photo included a gif of a waving American flag, she continued to write, "After years of applications, waiting, hard work, and patience [Alexei] got approved to be a US citizen! 2 weeks until his swearing-in ceremony!"
It's been a long time coming for this international couple. It's interesting to see the visa, green card, citizenship process come full circle. Not only do most 90 Day Fiancé couples not make it to the alter, but this couple has defied the odds and now Alexei is being awarded his citizenship for the US. With a baby on the way, this is definitely the best-case scenario for their growing family.
90 Day Fiancé airs Sundays at 8pm EST on TLC.
