Star of The Real Housewives at Atlanta, Kim Zolciak is feeling "distraught" over her 6-year-old son’s go-kart crash. Kim has always been a fan favorite among Bravo fans and left them reeling after she shared the scary details of her son’s accident and showed off the helmet that saved his life.
Zolciak-Biermann first shot to fame when she starred in The Real Housewives of Atlanta alongside NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss. After forming a friendship with the singer, she then produced her own song called Tardy for the Party, which became a dance anthem. After marrying Kroy who was a football player she went on to compete on Dancing with the Stars in its 21st season. The mother has gotten immense backlash for her way of life and love of cosmetic procedures and wigs. Zolciak is a mother of six who has children ranging from 6-year-old to 22-years-old.
With six children the reality star turned to stay at home mom is no stranger to accidents but thankfully the most recent one was saved by her son’s helmet according to Us Weekly. During her Instagram story on January 2nd, the 41-year-old shared that her boys went on around their neighborhood in their go-karts while she followed behind in her golf cart. The blonde began the story, "I’m very intuitive so before we go, I said to Kroy that Kane needs to be in the middle between KJ and Kash. Everyone knows I’m the nervous Nelly in the family. I’m very protective, so my kids are my whole life and I’m always thinking safety first and that sort of thing." Fans will recall that Zolciak had always been extremely nervous when it came to her children’s safety and explained that she had "no real reason" to place her son in the middle other than she felt strange about not putting him in that particular seat.
The Bravo personality then shared with her followers that she heard a loud noise where the go-kart was last seen with her boys. She tearfully explained that her husband ran to a part of the road where there were many rocks and like a superhero picked up the go-kart which was upside down. The two parents then saw that their son was upside down. The reality star then showed her followers a photo of the exact spot on the curb where her son smashed into the concrete which tore up the vehicle. To conclude her PSA post, Zolciak told her fans that she was "distraught" and that no matter what vehicle their children are playing on that they always need to wear a helmet, as it saved her son’s life.
Zolciak who once worked as a licensed nurse knows that not wearing a helmet can be deadly when it comes to serious accidents. Fans are relieved to know that The Real Housewife of Atlanta's sons are safe and sound with their parents after the terrifying accident.
