Shark Tank: 10 Funniest Pitches We Ever Saw On The Show

Shark Tank provides viewers with a wide range of experiences. Some of the products and presenters are inspiring and leave the sharks in tears. Others are so rude they're cursed out of the tank. Some of the most memorable pitches are those that have the sharks holding their sides in laughter. Whether a pitch is particularly funny or a product is too ridiculous to be believed a funny pitch is a treasure. Here are some of the most hilarious demonstrations ever made on the show.

10 Guard Llama

Guard Llama is one of the best products ever presented on Shark Tank. It's a safety device that sends your GPS location, photo and medical information to the closest emergency dispatch center. There's nothing funny about this life-saving device. The inventors presenting it, though, brought along a guest that really stole the show from their important product. A handsome llama who created a few fragrant messes was brought to the tank and had the sharks laughing non-stop.

9 Wake N Bacon

Few products on Shark Tank are genuinely laughed off the set. The sharks are professionals after all, and they maintain a respectful demeanor for most segments. Every so often a product crosses their stage that is too outrageous to take seriously. Such was the case for the Wake N Bacon. The product is an oven that turns on at a set time to wake you up to the smell of freshly cooked bacon.

The sharks loved the adorable design but they had some concerns from the beginning. Safety was a major worry. It's generally a bad idea to allow food to cook without anyone awake to supervise. Mr. Wonderful was concerned about fire hazards. Keeping raw bacon next to your bed overnight while you sleep is also a little bit unsanitary.

8 Horse Pants

Who knows what inspired Jimmy Kimmel to visit the set of Shark Tank, but it was one of the most iconic moments on the show. Kimmel's fictitious product is a line of business casual slacks for horses. Horse Pants solve the embarrassing problem of having to see animals in their natural state. The pitch was hilarious and included an anecdote about Kimmel and his family being uncomfortable viewing naked animals. The sharks were already having a great time and then a live model arrived to demonstrate the product. A horse walked on set, wearing a pair of trousers. The sharks were in stitches.

7 Haven

This segment may go down in history as the greatest demo on Shark Tank. Alex and Clay entered the tank with their home security device called Haven. The product adds security to your front door. Alex was inspired to create the device during his military service. He saw steel bars attached to door frames which made is impossible to kick in a residential door. To demonstrate the need for their product Alex attempted to kick in a door secured with a traditional deadbolt while Clay presented their idea. Alex gave his all to kick in the dead bolted door but nothing seemed to work. He even attacked it with a ramrod. When all seemed lost Alex flew through the air and kicked the door with both feet. Not only did the dead bolt fail but the door burst open and Alex flew through it like an action star. It was a dramatic and hilarious moment. Alex deserves a medal for his sheer grit and determination.

6 Birddogs

The creators of Birddogs were hilarious in a multitude of ways. Some of them were less intentional than others. Their product is a line of casual menswear in fun colors. Their primary product is a line of shorts with a comfort liner. The liner is meant to replace the need to wear underwear. The creators included several absurd allegories to their anatomy which had the sharks laughing from the first word.

Birddogs have some great features such as moisture-wicking fabric that dries faster than a swimsuit and large zippered pockets. The product is great looking and functional, but the tone of the pitch is really what shines. At one point the inventors drop a watermelon through their product making a huge mess. The demonstration was designed to fail and get laughs.

5 Throx

The greatest products exist to solve a problem. The more common the problem the wider the market. Most people wear socks. Everyone who wears socks has the same problem. Socks inexplicably disappear. Here to solve this universal issue is Edwin Heaven. Edwin's product is a package of three identical socks known as Throx. In theory, this is a great product that solves one of life's most irritating first world problems. The sharks saw it as a one-off novelty gift. Hardly a basis for a company that could pull in long term profits. They loved Edwin's product as well as his enigmatic personality.

4 Squirrel Boss

Squirrel Boss had the sharks enthralled and entertained from the beginning of the pitch. Michael DeSanti described squirrels who eat from bird feeders as if they were public enemy number one. As soon as he revealed his disdain for the bushy-tailed bandits the sharks were rolling with laughter. When he got to his solution for this problem the chuckles doubled. DeSanti invented a device to deliver a "harmless static correction" to any squirrel brave enough to steal your birdseed.

3 Any 12 Workouts

This presenter not only had a great product but he delivered his pitch with huge personality. After suffering a back injury he designed an exercise program that allowed him to get back into the rodeo industry but also relieved his lower back pain. From beginning to end there was a palpable Yosemite Sam energy in the studio including some full-volume yeehaws.

2 UroCLub

The UroClub was one of few products pitched by a medical professional. Designed by a urologist, this device is meant to provide a discreet way for golfers to relieve themselves on the green. The idea is ingenious and provides a solution to a genuine problem.  The sharks were still amused by the product, and it's easy to guess why.

The idea of draping a bright green towel over your crotch for discretion is pretty hilarious on its own. Peeing into the hollow, over-sized handle of the UroPro is an awkward mental image. Once you're finished you then have to spend the rest of your game carrying around a tube of urine. It's pretty funny stuff.

1 I Want To Draw A Cat For You

Steve Gadlin is one of the greatest entrepreneurs to ever enter the tank. There is nothing not to love about this quirky guy. His business idea is amazing and his presentation was bold, innovative and infused with his own personality. Steve not only delivered his pitch in the form of a song but he also danced around as well. He won over Mark Cuban instantly with his awkward charm. All of the sharks were having a great time and the viewers were too. His business idea? As his song explains, he wants to draw a cat for you. For a small fee, Gadlin himself will draw you a cat. That's a product we can all get behind.
