Kelly Chase and Kenny Barnes had a rather uneventful journey through Love Is Blind, and a perfectly healthy relationship came to an abrupt halt when Kelly left Kenny at the altar. Have they gotten back together since, or have each of them moved on?
Kenny and Kelly were the most vanilla couple out of the six that made it out of the pods. The producers barely showed us anything from them before the proposal, but we trusted that their partnership was a solid one. There was hardly any evidence to prove otherwise. The only hiccup in the weeks-long courtship was Kelly's hesitancy to have sex with Kenny. This was perhaps a bigger red flag than the audience realized, as Kelly showed up on her wedding day suddenly hesitant to pull the trigger on saying "I do." Kenny was blindsided, and, amidst the absurdity of this show, it actually hurt a little bit watching him process the emotions of getting dumped in the most humiliating of ways. Was Kelly's decision an impulse move?
In short, no. Kelly and Kenny don't appear to be dating after ending their relationship at the finale of Love Is Blind. The show was filmed in 2018, meaning they had to keep both their relationship and its sour ending a secret for over a year. Although the way the breakup unfolded was tough to watch, it wasn't the most devastating thing, considering how they were the least featured couple of the bunch.
The show wisely decided to focus on couples where the cracks in the relationship were a little more obvious. Giannina Gibelli and Damian Powers had a clear rift when it came to communication. Mark Cuevas wore blinders big enough to block out the sun as he convinced himself Jessica Batten had legitimate feelings for him. Matt Barnett had the suspense of deciding whether it was worth it to marry Amber Pike, despite her financial struggles. And even Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton had the storyline of dealing with Lauren's father being okay with her being in an interracial relationship.
In a sea of attractive people, the Love Is Blind process made it nearly impossible for two people meeting for the first time to not further their romantic connection. But when Jessica met Mark and when Kelly saw Kenny for the first time, there wasn't the romantic spark they were looking for. Kelly and Kenny seemed to have the perfect foundation for a strong relationship. But the bedroom is part of that foundation, and Kelly didn't feel like taking it there with Kenny.
