But throughout the series, he does have his moments where he is actually a great boyfriend along with his bad times.

10 Great Boyfriend: Sharing Funny Videos With Jessi

After Nick and Jessi start their relationship off in season one, they start texting each other these cute and funny videos of dogs and things that they find funny- which is definitely something that most all couples do in real life when the relationship is getting started, but in this case, since they started off as friends it shows a lot of effort from both sides to make their relationship something fun and interesting!

9 The Worst: Getting Jealous Of Jessi And Andrew's Friendship

In the episode "Everybody Bleeds," shortly after Nick and Jessi tell everyone in school about their new relationship, they go on a school field trip to the Statue of Liberty and get separated as Nick hangs out with DeVon asking for relationship advice and he sees Jessi hugging Andrew from the top of the building and automatically thinks something is going on between them. When he finds out that it was actually just a friendly hug because Jessi started her period it causes some big issues in their new relationship.

8 Great Boyfriend: Being Understanding Of Jessi's Feelings

Throughout most of Nick and Jessi's short-lived relationship in season one, it is not hard to notice that he is good at talking to her about her feelings and can understand where she is coming from most of the time. He is understanding even when he doesn't really understand what she is saying, which is probably because he just wants their relationship to last and for them to stay together.

When the two go on a date in the episode titled "Am I Gay?" they aren't really great at continuing their conversations or finding things to talk about, which causes Jessi to say that they were so much better as friends. Nick takes what she says as a compliment and thinks that it will help their relationship if they just went back to acting as friends while still in their relationship. Though this is sweet of him, it's pretty heartbreaking at the same time.

7 The Worst: Telling The Whole School That He Broke Up W/ Jessi

After Nick realizes that Jessi actually broke up with him he takes it to a whole new level after being interviewed by Matthew for the school news. He reveals to him and the entire school that he was the one who broke things off with her and that he was devastated by it just to upset her. When Jessi hears of what he said she is furious and it isn't until the end of the episode when the two decide that everything was stupid and they should just go back to being friends again.

6 Great Boyfriend: He Tries Everything To Get Close To Gina

Gina is first introduced in the episode "What Is It About Boobs?" and as soon as she is noticed at school during the new school year she gets sexualized by almost all of the students, boys, and girls, for being fully developed but though Nick is interested in that too he sets that aside and is more interested in getting to know her as a person. Here is where we start to see how big Nick is starting to change from being obsessed with all things sexual and is starting to be more interested in feelings and real-life stuff!

5 The Worst: Not Being Able To Tell Gina His Feelings

As Nick starts getting closer to Gina and starts learning more about her and her life, he starts falling for her even more. Though for some reason with Gina he is more hesitant to tell her about how he feels and about what he is dealing with. He is always a shoulder for her to cry on and is pretty much put in the friend zone from early on in their relationship, but he never stops trying.

Gina begins telling him about boys that she is interested in and about dates that she is going on while he is helping her with her homework and studying with her, and although this upsets him he never gives up on her.

4 Great Boyfriend: Meeting Gina's Family

Early on in Gina and Nick's relationship he goes over to her house to study and meets her brothers and grandmother before watching Planet Earth on Netflix together. While Nick is leaving her house and waiting on the bus to go back home, she waits alongside him and tells him that her family loved him but then her new boyfriend DeVon shows up and kisses her and they run off together. Though she is in a relationship with DeVon, Nick was the one to actually meet her family so that gives him more points right?

3 The Worst: Telling Everyone About Gina

When Gina breaks things off with her boyfriend DeVon her and Nick get closer than ever. In the episode "Dark Side of the Boob," the two make out in her bedroom and allows him to touch her bra. Afterward, Nick tells his friends about his day with her and doesn't leave out a single detail, this makes Jessi tell Devin, the most popular girl in school, about what has happened and everyone in the school slut shames her. This also causes a huge amount of tension between the two and makes their relationship pretty much nonexistent.

2 Great Boyfriend: When Their Relationship Got Rocky, He Was Still There

Throughout everything that Gina and Nick went through in their relationship, even watching her kiss another guy in front of him before they officially got together, he was still right there for her and never left her side. Later on in the series, Nick does give her a taste of her own medicine when he texts her and acts like he doesn't care what she does in episode "Guy Town."

Currently, on the series Nick is single and Gina is okay with being friends with him again, but will we ever see the two back together in the upcoming season? Let's hope so!

1 The Worst: Apologizing To Gina While Placing Blame At The Same Time

Shortly after Gina finds out that the entire school knows about Nick touching her, he finds her and tries to apologize but he does it in the worst way possible. He tries to be sincere but makes it sound more like a joke and throws the blame at Jessi since she was the one who told Devin causing the entire school to find out. Of course, Gina doesn't accept his apology and ends their entire relationship.
