AMC releases a trailer for The Walking Dead season 10 finale that reveals among many things the return of Lauren Cohen as Maggie Rhee (née Greene). Due to the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19, shutdowns throughout the industry have forced AMC to delay the airing of The Walking Dead's season 10 finale. Now planned to release later this year, this new trailer will have to hold fans until then.
The Walking Dead season 10's most recent episode, "The Tower", has left the survivors of the various communities - Alexandria, Hilltop, Kingdom, and Oceanside - in a precarious predicament. Though they've managed to kill the Whisperers' leader, Alpha (thanks in large part to Negan of all people), her second in command, Beta, is now leading a massive herd against them. Currently, the survivors are holed up in a hospital, sheltering in its upper floors. With the herd approaching, it's going to be one of the survivor's toughest fights yet to survive, but as teased in this Walking Dead season 10 finale trailer, help may be on the way.
Maggie exited the show in The Walking Dead season 9, leaving to join Georgie at her mysterious and advanced settlement. Since then, Hilltop had been communicating with Maggie via letters, but with the start of the Whisperer War and deaths of Hilltop's leaders Jesus and Enid, they're in dire straits and need help. Maggie, it appears, is finally receiving their distress call and may be coming to the rescue in Walking Dead's season 10 finale. Watch the trailer, below.
