Marvel's Daredevil Was Just Arrested For Murder | Screen Rant

When all Hell breaks loose in Hell's Kitchen, Marvel's Daredevil must team up with lethal adversaries to take out a group of belligerent mercenaries. But in the aftermath of the Hellfire... will The Man Without Fear have to forfeit something fans least expect?

Matthew Murdock may have lost his sight as a child, but comic fans know how he used that trauma to forge himself into the surprisingly powerful superhero Daredevil. But because Daredevil packs such a punch, it doesn't take much for him to seriously injure someone. Which is exactly why Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto's comic Daredevil #20, not only does war come to Hell's Kitchen, but a manhunt is underway for Daredevil as a previous encounter with three criminals goes sideways.

In Zdarsky and Checchetto's comic, Daredevil teams up with Kingpin as well as the not entirely villainous Typhoid Mary to take out the mercenaries that are terrorizing his neighborhood. But Daredevil, Kingpin, and Typhoid Mary are not alone in this fight. As the trio brawl with the mercenaries Rhino, Bullseye, and Crossbones, the citizens of Hell's Kitchen join the fight to save and reclaim their own city. Taking the opportunity to rise to the occasion and show the world that Daredevil has Jedi-level skills, not to mention finally prove that he's Bullseye's greatest rival, the battle is won. But Daredevil's fight is only beginning. As Mayor Fisk orders the police to arrest Daredevil, the good detective refuses... until Daredevil agrees.

The final pages of the issue follow a television reporter interviewing Fisk about saving the city, before recognizing the bruised and bloody man in a horned mask might actually be the true vigilante Daredevil. Deciding to interview him instead, Matt takes the chance to admits it's him... and that after a recent incident with a group of criminals, he's being accused of killing one of the men (Leo Carraro died shortly after, suffering from serious trauma to the head).

Instead of resisting arrest, Daredevil relinquishes his freedom and turns himself in. Leaving fans to wonder just what comes next in Matt Murdock's life -- and whether or not it has anything to do with the new Marvel hero taking the Daredevil role. Truth be told, although Daredevil has the desire to be a protector of Hell's Kitchen, he can't save everyone.
