Lesley Murphy first appeared on Sean Lowe's season of The Bachelor, but her reality TV career didn't end there. From her time on The Bachelor Winter Games to her recent engagement, here’s what Lesley has been up to since Lowe sent her home.
On tonight’s episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons—Ever!, fans will relive Sean Lowe’s epic season. What better opportunity to see what Sean's contestants are up to now? Since she was a big part of the season, we're obviously wondering where Lesley has been since Sean sent her home. Murphy was not only seen on Lowe’s season, but she also participated in the spinoff series The Bachelor Winter Games. While she didn't find love in Bachelor Nation, Murphy now looks happier than ever.
According to Bustle, after Sean Lowe sent Murphy home, she (in typical Bachelor Nation fashion), became a travel blogger. Her blog, called The Road Les Traveled, features the Bachelor alum’s latest trips, along with her yoga routine and other lifestyle hacks for her followers to read. In addition to her travel blog, Murphy also gave reality TV another chance and participated in The Bachelor Winter Games. There, she and oh-so-fine fellow Bachelor contestant Dean Unglert, also known as Deanie Baby to his fans, started a romance. However, their relationship did not last long post Winter Games and the two split in April 2018. Unglert is now happily dating another alum, Caelynn Miller-Keyes. As for Murphy, she too has recently found love!
Murphy revealed back in February that she is now engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Alex Kav! She shared the news on Instagram with an ultra-romantic drone video of the proposal. The caption reads, “It took all the necessary steps of my life to get here...on this beach at sunset with this guy, a drone and model plane flying over my head and a diamond ring dangling dangerously above millions of tiny grains of sand!” Since her engagement, Murphy unfortunately had to put her wedding plans on hold. Due to the pandemic, she and Kav had to postpone their big day, but they both seem optimistic about their relationship and future plans. Here’s to hoping these two can tie the knot soon. You can see the full video of the proposal below:
Even though fans have to rewatch Murphy get her heart broken again tonight, we’re so happy to hear that the alum found her perfect match after The Bachelor.
The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons—Ever! airs Mondays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
