With The Office streaming on Netflix, fans have been binging the series all over again and it's hard not to notice Pam's slow transition from a quiet girl in pinstriped shirts to a brave woman who came into her own. Let's take a look below to see Pam's slow transition in pictures throughout the seasons.

9 Season One

Season one was a trial run for the sitcom. NBC wasn't sure if they were going to stick with the show or have it canceled, so they started off with only six episodes. In season one, Pam is the quiet receptionist who lets fans know that she's engaged to a warehouse worker named Roy but has a best friend upstairs named Jim. It was clear from the start that there was something special between Jim and Pam but they could never act on it because Pam was an engaged woman. In the very first episode, Michael Scott tries to prove that he's a cool boss by pretending to fire Pam and it did not go the way he had hoped...

8 Season Two

Season two of The Office had 22 episodes, solidifying itself as a growing sitcom about the American workplace. The second season showed the personal turmoil that Pam was in without her mentioning it. In the episode "Booze Cruise," Jim admitted to Michael and the camera that he liked Pam and it was clear that Pam and Jim got along better than she and Roy. But by Casino night, Jim laid his feelings out on the table, and Pam turned him down.

In these episodes, Pam wore plenty of pinstriped button-downs and pencil skirts, all in muted and quiet tones with the same hairstyle.  It's not until Pam's a single woman that she begins to play around with her looks.

7 Season Three

In season three, Pam found herself single and alone. Not only did she break off her engagement with Roy but her best friend Jim left Scranton for the Stamford branch. Pam had been with Roy since high school so this was her first time living on her own and doing whatever she wanted. She was slowly finding herself and her voice and it seemed like she was enjoying it. It was in this season that Pam started playing around with her ponytails, sweaters, and shirts. Or as Kelly would say, "Fashion show, fashion show, fashion show at lunch!"

6 Season Four

At the beginning of the fourth season, fans find out that Pam and Jim are now dating in secret. They weren't ready for their co-workers to know about their blossoming romance and kept it under wraps until Toby caught them kissing.

Funny enough, at the start of the fourth season, Pam has completely transformed, Her hair is shorter and in a new style, she's wearing different types of shirts, and she playing around with colors. Now that she's a woman in love, she looks happier and more at ease with the direction her life was in.

5 Season Five

Season five had 28 episodes and showed Dunder Mifflin in a whole new light. Michael Scott was chasing after Holly and later created the Michael Scott Paper Company. While Michael was going through his own ups and downs, Pam was ready for something more. She had the man of her dreams and a home but she wasn't happy. She left Dunder Mifflin to create a "dream team" at the Michael Scott Paper Company as a saleswoman. In her new role, Pam changed her style once again. She began dressing more professionally, wearing matching suits. She looked different from season one Pam but she looked the part.

4 Season Six

By season six, Pam found out she was pregnant while planning her dream wedding with Jim. She and Jim wanted to keep her pregnancy a secret until after they were married but Jim let the cat out of the bag at their wedding rehearsal. Nonetheless, Pam's style changes throughout the season with her growing belly. She began wearing cute maternity dresses with colorful sweaters. By this stage in the season, Pam's old hairstyle (half up and half down) is long gone.

3 Season Seven

In the seventh season, things were quickly changing at Dunder Mifflin. It was Michael's last season, Pam and Jim were now parents to a baby, and there was a new manager to impress. Pam wasn't loving her job as a saleswoman and wasn't necessarily good at her job. But things turned around for her when she made up her own position as the office administrator. Once she had a position she liked doing, her life only continued to get better and it showed in her day-to-day. She was more outspoken, upbeat, and honest with the people in her life.

2 Season Eight

In the eighth season, Pam and Jim were thrown a curveball when they found out they were pregnant with baby number two. The pregnancy made Pam more emotional and insecure and she began to question her relationship. She was training a temp to do her job for her when she was on maternity leave but she began to second-guess herself when she realized how attractive Cathy was. As always though, Jim assured her she had nothing to worry about and the couple made it through.

As Pam did for her first pregnancy, she wore cute dresses and cozy sweaters that looked more like Pam than her matching suits.

1 Season Nine

In the ninth season, Pam made a full transformation. Her hair was smoothed out, her style was modernized, and she seemed to be in a great place by the time the series finale rolled around. Although Pam and Jim had a hard ninth season, Pam never looked better. The mother of two finally found her stride. Personality and looks-wise, ninth season Pam wouldn't even recognize first season Pam.
