Amid heightened speculation that Kim Kardashian from Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kanye West's divorce is on the horizon, a rumored "exit plan" strategy of Kim's has been revealed. It's being said that the KKW Beauty mogul has prepared herself, in the event that she and her rap/fashion mogul spouse decide to call it quits.
Earlier this month, fans were shocked when multiple sources claimed that "divorce was imminent" for the superstar couple after six years of marriage and four children. Insiders say Kim has grown tired of Kanye's erratic behavior, with his 2020 presidential campaign being the final straw. Others say that Kanye, who is known for his unpredictable behavior, found Kim and her famous family's reality star lifestyle "unbearable." The KKW Beauty founder has reportedly even hired her longtime divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to assist in the private divorce proceedings that are rumored to be taking place behind the scenes. However, nothing has been confirmed or denied by Kim or Kanye.
Now, it's being said that the SKIMS founder "began talks" with Wasser last July, after Kanye announced his bid for the presidency. At the time, the Yeezy founder went on a Twitter tirade against his wife and mother-in-law, accusing them of releasing reports about him to the media. Insiders say that around this time, Kim made the decision to meet with “her financial advisors to figure out an exit plan that would be best for her whole family.” An insider gave this information to Us Weekly. Since Kim and Kanye are both wealthy, the reality star is hoping to split their property evenly, should they ultimately decide to part ways. “Kim has had all of her and Kanye’s financials and properties ready to be split, it’s a very fair deal for everyone,” the source explained, adding, “Kim has all of her assets and financials ready for when she decides to file officially."
Though Kim reportedly hasn't filed for divorce yet, despite allegedly preparing for it since last summer, a reported "big fight" that the two had over the holiday break is what led to the divorce rumors breaking at the start of the new year. "Friends thought she was going to file in September, but she’s holding out," the insider revealed. The source added, "That does not mean that everything behind the scenes is already done.” It was recently said that the pair had stopped going to marriage counseling together. Additionally, sources for Kanye have said he is remaining silent and letting the "Kardashian PR machine" do what it does best.
All the while, Kim has continued her prison reform advocacy and promoting her businesses. She's also been sharing some adorable family moments with her kids on social media. Many KUWTK fans are hoping that Kim and Kanye shut down the rumors and let the world know they're still going strong.
