Watch Stranger Things Season 3 Blooper Reel | Screen Rant

The official Stranger Things Twitter account has been hard at work promoting #StrangerThingsDay, which included the release of a blooper reel from season 3. It's been five months since new episodes were released, and already fans are hungry for more content from the Upside Down. The hit Netflix show's third season was a major success with fans and critics, and the series has become a major cultural phenomenon. Even though the show is steeped in '80s nostalgia and science-fiction movie references, the Duffer Brothers have managed to create something truly original with their Netflix adventure-drama.

David Harbour and Wynona Ryder star in the show, but the story's events primarily follow the adventures of its young cast. Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) have all become breakout stars. Matarazzo recently got his own Netflix prank show, while Wolfhard appeared recently in It Chapter 2. And as the young cast progresses rapidly through puberty, the show will have to age with them.

The official Stranger Things Twitter account has been very active for an event dubbed #StrangerThingsDay, and three separate blooper reels from the show's three seasons have been released in short order. The season 3 blooper reel is of particular interest to fans desperate for more Stranger Things content. The bloopers include stars Brown and Sadie Sink (Mad Max) goofing around on set. Fans can also see new behind-the-scenes antics from a doomed Dungeons and Dragons party featuring Will the Wise.

The Stranger Things Twitter account has been used to reveal information before, including a recent cryptic video tease that promised to take viewers to exciting new locations. Unfortunately for Stranger Things fans, there will be a long wait before the release of season 4. So far, little is known about the highly anticipated new season. Typically, TV studios would release blooper reels and special content when the DVD of a season is released for the home entertainment market. But with every episode always ready to stream on Netflix, the show's social media team has found their own reasons to keep the show in the spotlight. As such, the Stranger Things Twitter account has been busy retweeting fans and posting updates from the show's young stars all day.

When the show does return, fans are especially curious to discover if Chief Jim Hopper will return after the tragic events of season 3. Many fans have also theorized that in addition to exploring locales outside of Hawkins, Indiana, the show will introduce new characters with powers similar to that of Eleven. Absent any official information from the showrunners, fans will have plenty of time to speculate wildly. Stranger Things isn't expected to return until 2021. A blooper reel is always a welcome piece of content for die-hard fans of a hit show; however, it won't make the days until season 4's release pass any quicker.
