After getting third place on Big Brother 22: All-Stars, Nicole Franzel took to Instagram to unfollow Cody Calafiore, Derrick Levasseur, Daniele Donato, and many others. This was a rough season for Nicole. She was found crying to herself since week 1, for situations that range from not trusting Janelle Pierzina to thinking that she won't be able to win a Head of Household or Power of Veto competition all season long. She allied herself with the dominant Committee alliance and got to the Final 7 without ever being a target. However, the alliance collapsed on Triple Eviction, which is when these allies were forced to nominate one another. That night, Nicole was up on the block twice: against David Alexander and against Daniele Donato Briones.
But those nominations during the Triple Eviction also sparked a fire inside Nicole Franzel, who finally managed to win competitions during the Big Brother endgame. As HOH, it was Nicole who got to finally evict Memphis Garrett. He was the other frontrunner in the season aside from Cody Calafiore, which made that a very bold move. Nicole then realigned herself with Christmas Abbott and Enzo Palumbo, which put her in a sweet spot to be taken to the Final 3 and Final 2 if need be. However, a huge shock took place on finale night: Nicole's biggest ally in the game, Cody, decided not to take her to the finale. The fans then watched how clearly devastated she looked after getting cut.
Now, former Big Brother winner Nicole Franzel is apparently cutting ties with all the BB-related friends and allies that she's had over the years. On Saturday, October 31, the fans realized that Nicole was doing a deep unfollow spree on her Instagram page. Per @NoahArbz reporting (seen below), Nicole Franzel has already unfollowed Cody Calafiore, Daniele Donato Briones, Derrick Levasseur, Haleigh Broucher, Andy Herren, and Britney Haynes on Instagram. Nicole has also unfollowed Cody's girlfriend, Cristie LaRatta. Despite all of these unfollows, Nicole hasn't been very active on social media for the time being. So far, she has also not addressed the fact that she lost various sponsors for some of her actions and comments on the show.
It's particularly shocking that Nicole Franzel is taking such drastic measures to send a message to her BB16 co-stars Cody Calafiore and Derrick Levasseur. They've been friends for many years since meeting on the show, and it's surprising that Cody's decision to cut her in Final 3 is having these many immediate repercussions. The fans thought that, while hurt, Nicole would ultimately understand what Cody did as a game move. However, it seems like she's putting an end to those friendships now that the season is over.
The Big Brother 22: All-Stars post-season is seeming more exciting than the actual show. For now, the fans can keep monitoring these contestants' social media profiles to keep up with what else will be said or done.
