Amid Malik Beasley's cheating scandal with Larsa Pippen, his wife, Montana Yao, has shared an update since announcing her divorce. This comes after the NBA player was spotted on a shopping date with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family friend.
Larsa has been in the hot seat after she was spotted holding hands with another woman's husband. Late last month, the mother of four was spotted at a strip mall in Miami walking hand-in-hand with a mystery man. A few days after they were photographed together, the man was identified as married Minnesota Timberwolves player Malik Beasley. Her public date came a few weeks after she was sick in bed battling COVID-19. However, once she was feeling better, she returned to the public scene with a vengeance. After their date hit the press, Malik's wife and the mother of his child, Montana Yao, released a statement letting her followers know she had no idea her husband was with another woman and she learned about his infidelity on social media. As a result, she filed for divorce shortly after.
On Wednesday, Montana released a statement on Instagram giving an update on her breakup with Malik. "I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for your tremendous love and support during this time," she shared in a lengthy message. "Things have been pretty rough I'm not going to lie," she added before revealing her estranged husband forced her and their son out of the family home. "We were told to leave our family home 10 days ago and just like you all I'm pretty confused." She also went on to share that her husband has yet to apologize to her for the public humiliation she faced after he was caught with the former star of The Real Housewives of Miami. "There has been no private or public addressing of the situation nor any type of apology." Read her full statement on the situation below:
When Malik and Larsa were seen together, sources close to the former reality star revealed she did know he was married, but he downplayed the relationship and made it seem as though they were getting a divorce. However, the divorce wasn't filed until he was caught with Larsa. The insiders claimed Larsa still had plans to date Malik once the heat of the cheating scandal blew over. Her college student son, Scottie Pippen Jr., took to Instagram to express his disappointment in his mother over the scandal. Larsa filed for divorce from Scottie Pippen in 2018. However, the couple remains legally married.
Last month, Larsa made media headlines after she did a revealing tell-all interview against the Kardashian-Jenner family. She claimed to have dated Tristan Thompson shortly before he went public with Khloé Kardashian. She also accused Kanye West of "brainwashing" the family and turning her friends against her. Looks like Larsa is comfortable being at the center of the drama.
